Named after my children, Corey, Michael, and Leah, this brand represents my commitment to building something meaningful that will outlive me. Every piece we create is rooted in purpose, family, and the belief that hard work, faith, and determination can create opportunities for future generations.
Born in the Bronx and raised in Queens, New York, I was shaped by one of the most influential cultural movements in history. Hip hop wasn't just music. It was identity. It was confidence. It was creativity. It was a movement that taught us to take pride in where we came from and never apologize for who we are.
I grew up inspired by pioneers and legends like Curtis Blow, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Salt N Pepa, A Tribe Called Quest, NAS, Mobb Deep, and personalities like Ed Lover, who helped define an era. Fashion icons such as Dapper Dan, Karl Kani, and FUBU showed us that style could be created from our own neighborhoods and become a global influence.
Those experiences became the foundation of Corey Michaels.
